(3) Configure Feed

Add a title, description, and choose the event criteria appropriate to your page.

  • Title - Displays on the page as a section heading.
  • Description - WYSIWYG space to add content between the title and the events feed.
  • Content to display if there are no events - WYSIWYG space to add content that only shows up if the event feed is empty.
  • Feed Filters - within a filter the selection is OR (must match X OR Y), across filters the selection is AND (must match X AND Y). Selecting from multiple filters helps target events to support the purpose and audience of the page. Choosing no filters will show all events.
  • Group (optional) - Primary buckets of events data, generally departments or similar major groupings.
  • College Units (optional) - The college and the three schools. Useful for "All Nolan events", etc.
  • Audiences (optional) - Prospective students, alumni, faculty, etc. Useful for audience-specific cross-group queries.
  • Global Tags (optional) - approved system-wide tags used to further narrow down results.
  • Enable Button CTA checkbox - if checked, the button appears next to the Description output. By default, the button will link to a pre-filtered version of the unified calendar matching the filter criteria selected in the dropdowns.
  • Override Button CTA URL (optional) - if you want to link to a custom URL, enter the entire link.
  • Override Button CTA Label (optional) - to give the button custom text, enter it here. The shorter the better. DO NOT USE "CLICK HERE".
  • Override Button CTA ARIA label (optional) - provide alternative ARIA label text for the button.
