Per Cornell's policies, PDF accessibility remediation must be completed through IT. Complete the remediation form and submit your account number to get started. Stakeholders must submit this themselves as there is an account number needed to pay for the remediation.
Once they are remediated, they will be automatically added to the WordPress media library and you will be notified. Once they're on the WordPress media library you'll need to make sure all of the links to those old files are updated to the new ones, and delete all of the old files out of the WordPress media library.
Notes:
- You cannot upload PDF files directly to the media library. All PDF files must go through this vendor-driven remediation process.
- Linking to PDF files on Box, Google Drive, Dropbox, or any other cloud file hosting provider is prohibited. PDF files linked from college websites MUST be remediated per university and college policy and legal requirements.
