Web and WordPress Training

Web steward training provides the knowledge and tools you need to manage content effectively. Whether you're a new content steward or need a refresher, the training offers brief, on-demand courses covering topics such as:

  • Writing for the web 
  • Accessibility and legal compliance 
  • Uploading and managing images 
  • Using WordPress tools and best practices for governance 

What to Expect:

  • Short videos: Each training module takes less than five minutes to complete. 
  • Quick quizzes: After each video, answer a two to four question quiz to reinforce key concepts. 
  • Time commitment: The full training can be completed in 1.5 to 2 hours and broken into multiple sittings. 

Once you complete your training, you’ll have a solid understanding of the language, tools, best practices, and requirements for managing college web content.
