Web governance is about managing and
maintaining the content of our website. This
means making sure everything is current,
accurate, and supports our college’s goals. It
also ensures that all content meets
accessibility and legal standards, providing a
seamless experience for all users.
As part of our web governance plan,
we’re using a specialized plugin created by
the Web and Digital Experience team for
WordPress, our content management system. This
tool will help us:
- Review content regularly based on a set
schedule
- Identify and fix outdated information
- Check for broken links
- Ensure pages are accessible and
user-friendly
As a content steward, you will
receive initial training from the Marketing
and Communications (MarCom) team. You will
also have on-demand access to support
materials and resources at your disposal as
you keep your webpages accurate and
up-to-date.
